Apple completed its transition from PowerPC 32/64 to INTEL x32/64 processors.
Unfortunately, NetVault Database Backup from a NetVault server that was running in a PowerPC server, cannot be restored to a server running with an Intel processor.
This is due to the incompatibility between the PowerPC and Intel computing architecture.
A new installation of the NetVault Server software in the Server with the Intel process has to be made.
Instead of doing a NetVault Database Restore, all jobs must be recreated and all media must be scanned into the new NVDB.
