After upgrade ONTAP to version 9.8 all NDMP backup jobs fails
Description

After upgrading NetApp ONTAP to version 9.8, current NDMP backup jobs won't complete with error: "Failed to connect to NDMP server 'XXXXXX' for browse."
Furthermore, when creating a new NDMP backup job, the error "Unable to determine type of data server" is displayed.
Cause

Certification for NetApp ONTAP 9.8 is in progress. Version 12.2.0.8 of NetVault NDMP plugin provides support up to ONTAP 9.7
Resolution

Enhancement request NV-1655 has been issued to address the appliance certification. Please refer to the "New Features" section of the Product Release Notes for a complete list of Enhancement ID's addressed in the new release.

Please contact NetApp for support to revert ONTAP to a prior version.
