Media manager brings all media offline.
All media is randomly being taken offline. This occurs under heavy backup utilization.
The \NetVault Backup\dump directory contains many Media_Manager-0123456789.log files.
The presence of .log files in the \dump directory indicates a process, in this case Media Manager. has crashed.
Examining the log file may reveal shared memory errors or no errors at all.
If you are running a Hybrid version of NetVault and the OS is 64 bit, such as Windows 2012 R2, it is recommended to upgrade to the Pure64 version of NetVault. Currently only Windows supports direct upgrade from Hybrid to Pure64.
