After upgrading NetVault from version 12.0.1 to 12.2 catalog search stopped working
Catalog search was uninstalled and reinstalled and the following message was seen:
“The NVBU server and client version does not match. Please upgrade NVBU client”
Catalog failed to upgrade during NetVault upgrade
1/ Install latest catalog plugin with administrator privileges using CLI in folder “NetVault Backup\packages\extra\” .
Use executable file “netvault-catalogsearch-installer.exe”. This will upgraded catalog plugin on Netvault server.
2/ Install catalog again using the netvault WebUI.
Note: it was found on one occasion that it was not possible to install from WebUI and there was no option to supply install directory location even though catalog had been uninstalled before upgrading the plugin from the CLI. It was necessary to uninstall catalog again from the WebUI and then install catalog from the WebUI.
