Procedure for changing timeout on tapes in drive before returning to slot
1/ on NetVault WebUI open manage devices, select cog to display library details. Here we see the name of the library and the client or NetVault server it’s attached to. As seen below

2/ On the NetVault server open CMD as administrator CD to …\NetVault Backup\bin directory and issue command deviceconfig this will display the command and all parameter allowed
Below is example command of how to access the drive
-librarymachine <client or NetVault server library is attached to>
-username <full privilege user such as default or admin>
-password <only required if user stated has password set if not this option is not required>
- libraryname Name of the library put it in quotes as seen below
Example command:
deviceconfig -username default -librarymachine SIDIOUS-libraryname " SIDIOUS: 2-0.0.0 (QUANTUM PX500)"
