“Invalid argument” pop-up error message occurred when the NetVault Console was launched.
NetVault Server “Invalid argument” pop-up error message was caused by a restore job restoring data files to the NetVault Server and caused the hard drive to fill up.
Once all the data files were deleted, the error message didn’t appear again.
The customer also restored the data files to a different location and the restore was successful too.
Note: If you have to restore data to the NetVault Server, make sure that there is enough hard disk space available and maybe worth restoring to a different partition / hard drive where NetVault Software is not installed on.
