Configuring PostgreSQL: preparing

Error changing group of /usr/netvault/db/pgsql to netvault-pgsql
Verified using root user and verified root umask is set to 0022
Problem in Installbuilder underlying library parsing the /etc/group file.
The problem is related to one of the entry lines in the file being too long:
Line no:74
test:x:502:tramea,.....
Bug NVBU-18543
WORKAROUND:
Remove this line temporarily before Netvault installation and then restore the line on completion of installation.
Note as we are removing line from /etc/group this may well effect users in the group line being removed so these steps should be taken out of hours when no users are logged in.
1/ Make sure you take backup of /etc/group file.
2/ Then remove the mentioned line in this case it was test Group but this will be dependent on the Groups in the file and the number of entries in the line.
Line no:74
test:x:502:tramea,.....
3/ Start the NetVault installation.
4/ Upon completion, restore the respective line only.
(Note: DO not restore complete /etc/group file, as NetVault installation has added its entries to the file)
STATUS:
NVBU-18543 will be fixed in a future release of NetVault Backup
