Jobs continuously assigned DR in the logs every 30 seconds, but it never sends data. -
Description
When doing a backup of a client on the other side of that WAN to a DR on the other side of the WAN, some jobs will get stuck in a loop of assigning the DR every 30 seconds over and over.

Cause
Prior to NetVault Backup 10.0.5 there was a hard coded timeout of 30 seconds. This timeout is now configurable in NetVault Backup 10.0.5 and later. -
Resolution
Go to Change Settings | Server Settings | Media Manager and increase "RAS device start transfer batch timeout time"
The default is 30 seconds. Increase this setting to 300 seconds. If the problem persists it can be increased to 1200 seconds.
