Backup failures seen in binary log as below:

See error while exploring storage as seen below:
Explore Storage -> DR4100 -> Explore Repository.
The GUI gives a pop-up with the following error: "Error: Database query failed"
The same error occurs when trying to explore the Tape Storage.
When upgrading NetVault 10.* only the NetVault process manger should be stopped. stopping service NetVault backup postSQL database server had an adverse effect to the database during upgrade.
1/Uninstall NetVault
2/Reinstall NetVault 10.0
3/Add library and scan NetVault database tape or backup device that the NetVault database backup was written to.
4/Restore the NetVault database backup taken before the upgrade
Note leave NetVault for an hour so that the database restore has time reload the tables.
5/Verify that we can see all jobs and storage correctly.
6/Stop NetVault process manger service
7/Upgrade NetVault.
