Navigate to the NV 10 web UI's 'View Reports' screen, then highlight the 'Server License - Capabilities and Usage' report and hit 'Run & View'.
Under the "Number of tape drives" section, if the number of drives for which the NVBU Server is 'Licensed' is more than the number of tape drive licenses 'Used', adding another tape drive would be possible.
For example, if the 'Licensed' value for the "Number of tape drives" shows as '4' on that report and the number 'Used' is only '2', then '2' more tape drives could be added without hitting the licensed limit.
Be advised if you are exceeding licensing in any form it will not allow you to add further clients, devices or options until the license has been corrected.
