The installation fails when the install module is placed under the path which name includes Japanese.

The output from the script may be found in the file 'C:\Users\myuser\AppData\Local\Temp\postinstall.sh.outputX'. Please examine the contents of this file in a text editor."

WORKAROUND

If in English/US Windows system, do not use Non-English character as installation directory.

STATUS

Waiting for fix in a future release of NetVault Backup

Check postinstall.sh.outputX.txt and it shows the install module path, which includes "????. ????" or question marks that correspond to the Japanese character of the installation directory name.
