Tape library drives are offline with a 'NDMP_DEVICE_BUSY_ERR' error message.

NetVault Backup Environment Details...
NetVault Server: 9.0.1 Windows 2003 R2 Plugin: NDMP 7.6.11 with the NDMP 5.7.5 Consolidation Patch. Filer: NetApp OnTap 8.1 Backup Device: Spectra T50e tape library with 12.6 Blue Firmware attached to the Filer via FC. SANSurfer installed and setup for FC persistent bindings.
The tape library drives serial numbers in NetVault Device Management were compared with the tape library web interface drives section to make sure they were correct i.e. the drive order added to NetVault Device Management was correct. If the drive order is incorrect, then media/device/backup issues will occur. The drives in this instance were in the correct order and persistent bindings were working as expected.
The following errors were within the NetVault logs:
