How do I remove phase 1 backup immediately from staging backup device after duplicating to tape
Select the migrate option in the advanced option tab. This will remove the backup from NetVault database and staging devices such as SmartDisk, DR4100, dr6000 on completion of the backup.
If the staging device is a VTL or another tape device it will remove the backup from the database and make the backup on the VTL or tape available to overwrite as soon as all backups on the VTL or tape have expired.
