NetVault Backup for winstall log location (4036946)

NetVault will create logs of the installation, upgrade and removal of the software on Windows.

Install logs will be located in the following locations:

• Windows - C:\users\[install user]\AppData\Local\Temp

Install process will create 6 logs:

• checkinstall.sh.output
• netvault_checkinstalllog.txt
• preinstall.sh.output
• netvault_preinstalllog.txt
• postinstall.sh.output
• netvault_postinstalllog.txt

Uninstall will create 4 logs:

• preremove.sh.output
• netvault_preremovelog.txt
• netvault_postremovelog.txt
• postremove.sh.output

The upgrade process performs both an unistall of the old components and install of the new, updated components. As such, it creates all 10 logs.

File names will be incremented with an XX suffix for subsequent upgrades, installs and uninstalls.
