NetVault Backup 9.2 is backing up to a DataDomain DD2500 with DDOS 5.4.0.8 and fails with the following error messages within the trace:

The main error is “ddp_ddos_compatible says Boost API and device DDOS version are incompatible” and Engineering have also confirmed this issue.
Bug 24506 has been updated for a review on a future version of NVBU, as NVBU 9.2 uses the 2.5 ddboost dll file version.
vRanger and EMC Networker do work with DD2500 and DD OS 5.4.0.8, as they use a 2.4 and 2.6 ddboost dll files.
