During the backup binary log reports the following warnings:

On backup completion it is not possible to browse the VM at file level from the restore window.
VMware VDDK does not support the file partition type for file level backups.
This is an expected behavior, it is a warning that the partition is of a type that cannot be indexed.
If the VM must have a file level backup, install the NetVault client on the VM and backup using the file system plugin.
