NetVault Server: 9.0.1 installed on Windows 2012 (Note: This Operating System version is only supported with the Filesystem Plugin at the moment).
NetVault Clients: 9.0.1 installed on a mixture of Windows and Linux machines.
SVTL: Resides on a hard drive array attached to the NetVault Server via Fibre Channel.
The following error were logged in the Binary log:

DEVMGR :02740 776 0 153213 Data Channel Connect: FAILURE
Windows Firewall was disabled on the NetVault Server and Clients, as well as IPTables on Linux Clients and the errors were still being logged.
The hard drives that contained the SVTL had not been brought online within Windows Disk Manager.
Bringing the hard drives back online resulted in the SVTL working again.
