Attempted to blank tape in slot but tape would not blank.
Checked manage storage for tape and tape not mentioned.
Looking at binary log we see “Media 'F10644L' <Archive> in 'DRIVE 4:F-INFR-077' is in use, cannot be blanked” as below.

“Media has uncommited segment”, This means that NetVault believes that this tape has a backup segment on it from a currently running backup. I.e. data has been written to this tape during a backup and the rest of the data is being written to a different tape. It is not possible to see which backup job this is in manage storage because the backup has not completed and therefore the segment, tape and job information have not been committed to the database.
Use a different tape as this tape belongs to a currently running backup.
