When backing up using the Plug-in for Domino running on Windows Operating System, aborting the backup job can causes the Domino services to stop.
During a backup job, and during a restore job as well, if the end user selects to abort the job while is running, it could cause that the Domino Services are stopped.
In particular in Windows Operating System, if the NVBU notesagent does not terminate gracefully it could cause the Domino service to stop.
This is BUG 27591 and will be fixed in future version of the Domino plugin.
