Affected NV Version: 8.5
OS Version: Windows
What MPP does is watch the amount of RAM an application uses compared to TCP connection. If an application has a TCP connection and suddenly uses 90% of a systems ram (like SmartDisk Post Processing de-dupe) MPP will kill the application. This is intended to be a security feature.

The solution is to disable MPP so it allows NV backup and NV SmartDisk to work without any interruptions.
