Failed to get restore stream during Duplication to Physical Tape from NVSD. (4047419)

Symptoms: Duplication can't get a restore stream.

The Backup job fails with the following error when trying to read from Smartdisk during a duplication:

The Problem here was down to the volume that NVSD Stor is on was showing bad sector errors in the event log of the NVSD server.

Running Windows disk check utility fixed the issue of the Bad sectors and the job completed without any further errors.
