Cause
Implemented parallel restore for Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012R2, Windows Server 2016, and Windows Server 2019 Hyper-V installationsThis feature is available for backups made with Plug-in for Hyper-V 12.2. Resolution
When you restore a backup created with NetVault Backup Plug-in for Hyper-V 12.2 or later, the option to use orchange the number parallel streams is available within the restore procedure, as found in Selecting data for anSelecting data for an image-level restore1) In the Navigation pane, click Create Restore Job.2) On the Create Restore Job — Choose Saveset page, select Plug-in for Hyper-V from the Plugin Typelist.3) To filter the items displayed in the saveset table further, use the Client, Date, and Job ID lists.The table displays the saveset name (job title and saveset ID), creation date and time, and size. By default,the list is sorted by creation date.4) In the saveset table, select the applicable item.When you select a saveset, the following details are displayed in the Saveset Information area: Job ID,job title, server name, client name, plug-in name, saveset date and time, retirement setting, IncrementalBackup or not, Archive or not, and saveset size.5) Click Next.6) On the Create Selection Set page, if you want to restore more than one VM at a time, complete one of thefollowing options:▪ For a 12.2 backup, click Edit Plugin Options, and then change the Maximum Number of ParallelStreams to the amount of VMs you want to simultaneously restore.▪ For a backup created with NetVault Backup Plug-in for Hyper-V 12.0 or older, see Configuring parallel streams.The NetVault Backup Plug-in for Hyper-V 12.2 can be downloaded from the following link:
