Whenever a cleaning attempt is done through NetVault a "CLEANING MEDIA: Exhausted" message is displayed.
A manual clean through the library console, outside NetVault, fails as well.
Use a different cleaning tape. If the same happens, confirm if the 2nd cleaning tape was brand new.
If there's more than one cleaning tape available and there's no record on the number of uses from each tape, there may more than one expired cleaning tape.
If a manual clean through the library console with a brand new cleaning tape fails. This might be a hardware issue. Please contact you library support.
