On Linux-based systems:
1 On Netvault version 10.x Start the Configurator. Click the Service tab, and then click Stop Service.
On Netvault versions 11.x 12.x use the txtconfig command located in the Netvault bin directory to stop the Netvault Process Manager services. You can press "?" for help. It should be located after pressing letter "p" and number 3 in the page listing. Services #3. (You can also use the script located in netvault etc folder by running ./startup.sh stop).
3 Manually move the db directory to the new location.
5 In the /etc/init.d/netvault-pgsql file, change the database path.
7 Start the netvault-pgsql service:
/etc/init.d/netvault-pgsql start
On Windows-based systems:
1 On Netvault 10.x Start the Configurator. Click the Service tab, and then click Stop Service.
On Netvault versions 11.x 12.x use the txtconfig command located in the Netvault bin directory to stop the Netvault Process Manager services. You can press "?" for help. It should be located after pressing letter "p" and number 3 in the page listing Services #3. (you can also stop the NetVault Process Manager from the Services panel in Administrative Tools)
3 Manually move the db directory to the new location. Verify that the user under which the netvault-pgsql service runs has the ownership of the new Database Directory.
5 Open the Registry Editor.
7 On the Windows Services Management Console, right-click the netvault-pgsql service, and select Properties. On the General tab, verify that the Path to executable parameter displays the new database path.
9 On Netvault version 10.x. Start the Configurator. Click the Service tab, and then click Start Service.
On Netvault version 11.x, 12.x in Windows services start the Netvault Process Manager and then ensure the NetVault Postgres Database Services are running.
