DSP: Question regarding changing the Target Service Account Password -
Description
We need to change the target service account password configured throughout the product. What are all the locations within the product which we will need to update the password in order for the reset to be seamless. -
Resolution
The following locations will require an update:
- For Directory Sync Pro: All synchronization profiles
- For AD Pro : Manage | Credentials | Credentials
The other location which could require an update is the Directory Sync Service. This service could be running under the context of the Target Service account, confirm this location as well.
Thoroughly test and confirm all is working after the change. Contact support if there are any questions or issues.
