Cause
This issue is related to SQL, where all the sudden the table value jumps up by 1000 and based on our researched this can be if SQL server instance or the machine was rebooted. Here is a KB that also points out this issue

Resolution
Run the below task in SQL to RESEED the license table and resolve the issue.1. Open SQL Management Studio2. Right click on the Dirsync database > select New Query3. Execute the following queries in orderRun this query first:DBCC CHECKIDENT ('DirSync_LicensedObjects')Review the Message, it will indicate a current column value, use that value for the following queryRun the below query, replace XX with the current column value displayed in the results of the first query.Next Query:DBCC CHECKIDENT ('DirSync_LicensedObjects', RESEED, xx)Note: Replace xx with the current column value from the first query.Restart the DirSync Pro service
