With Windows Server 2012 you need to manually specify the notes.ini file location. In some cases if you don't do this and use the default ini file, the Migrator for Notes console/designer will repeatedly prompt for a notes password of the notes id.
To set the path to the notes.ini file do the following:
In Migrator for Notes to SharePoint Console
- Right click the Migrator for Notes to SharePoint node
- Choose Advanced Configuration Options
- Click the Notes tab
- Specify the path to your Notes.ini file in the "Override default Notes.ini file" field
- Click Test to confirm it works and click ok
In Migrator for Notes to SharePoint Designer
- Click Tools then Options
- Click the Notes tab
- Specify the path to your Notes.ini file in the "Override default Notes.ini file" field
- Click Test to confirm it works and click ok
