"The underlying secure session has faulted before the reliable session fully completed." (4252626)

When migrating from a Lotus Notes database to a SharePoint Document Library, the following error occurs:

"The underlying secure session has faulted before the reliable session fully completed. The reliable session was faulted."

The same error also appears in the log file.

This problem could be caused if the Import Service session was unexpectedly shutdown (probably by the Internet Information Service, IIS), or the import service reached the timeout assigned (default 1:30 hours). Or the clock between the server and the client are not synchronized.

WORKAROUND 1:

There should be an entry in the Windows event log on the server describing the reason.

WORKAROUND 2:

Increase the Import Service web.config timeout.

WORKAROUND 3:

Make sure the clock between the server and the client are synchronized.
