Can attachments be migrated to an alternate library? -
Description
In some instances it may be preferred to migrate the metadata to a custom list and have Migrator for Notes to SharePoint (MNSP) migrate attachments to another library. -
Resolution
The following steps will adjust the target data definition to allow migrating attachments to an alternate library.
- Open MNSP Designer
- Load the migration job
- Select the SharePoint tab
- Click the Edit button
- Select the Data Fields tab
- Click on Attachments from the left pane
- On the right side click on Attachments in the Target Type field and change the value to File
- Specify the Document Library name to migrate attachments
- An alternate folder can be specified or leave the field blank to use root of the document library
