Can Notes Migrator for Exchange migrate email that is in a different Language?
It is possible to migrate email that is in a different language. You will need a migration workstation for each language that you need to migrate. Each workstation should have the appropriate language pack installed and be set to the correct code page for the data that you are migrating. You also want to make sure that all the available "Regional Settings" for the language are installed. Verify in the "Regional Settings" applet on the first screen under "standards and formats" that the appropriate language is set. On the second tab under the details button you need to be sure that the appropriate language is installed. Finally, on the "Advanced" tab you need to select the appropriate language in the drop down and all the instances of the appropriate language in the checkbox list. Once this has been done, then please retry the migration.
Please note that any UNICODE message that is not a part of a RTF or HTML body will lose their encodings during the migration and the plain text body of all messages will be converted to the locale's character set.
Note: For version 3.1, all that is needed is the correct code pages to be installed.
Solution applies to version 3.0.x.x and previous versions.
