When provisioning groups from contacts, the groups are created with a 1 appended to the alias and/or displayname.
This can be caused by replication delays between the Domain Controller and Exchange, this delay can cause Exchange to still see the alias and displayname and think they are still in use when the Contact has really been deleted.
WORKAROUND 1:
1, Make sure that the Notes Migrator and Exchange are talking to the same DC
2, Delete the transporter created contacts for these groups before running the group provisioning. (The contacts dont hold any extra information that NME cant add back in.)
WORKAROUND 2:
The followingINI setting(CreateGroupDelay=)can be set.
[ActiveDirectory] Data Migr
CreateGroupDelay=<####>
Type: integer. Optional. Default: 0 New in ver 4.1.8
Determines the number of seconds that the Data Migration Wizard, when group provisioning, will wait after deleting a contact (to make way for a group) before
creating a distribution group in AD. You may want to set this value to something in the range of 30 to 300 seconds if your environment experiences AD replication delays.
For example:
CreateGroupDelay=60
If you experience no such delays, you may leave the parameter set to its default of 0 seconds (no delay).
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future release of Notes Migrator for Exchange.
