When using the AD Object Merge Utility, any extra proxy addresses added to the contact after the Notes connector has created the contact will not merge and get added to the security object. The only proxy addresses that are actually merged are the 2 Notes addresses that get added by the connector.
This is the expected behavior. The AD OBject merge tool has been designed to only add the Notes proxy address as well as the Notes UID address to the security object because these are the only addresses that the connector creates.
If there are custom proxy addresses that have been added to the contact that are not part of any recipient policies in the Exchange organzation, the AD OBject Merge Utility can be forced to extract from the connector and stamp them on the new security object you are merging into. This will take every proxy address that exists and stamp them on the merged security object:
1. Open the adobjmerge.ini file located in X:\Program Files\Quest Software\Notes Migrator for Exchange, where X = the drive where you installed the program.
2. In the [Active Directory] section, add the following:
Attr50=proxyAddresses
This will force the utility to merge all existing proxy addresses from the contact to the security object.
The recipient policy is required to update the other proxy addresses that are need in the environment.
