We managed to successfully Provision a User and Mailbox enable them. However, when Migrating mailbox data getting error "ERROR: [1250-53-5-00000000] Could not find user in Global Address List"
Have followed KB article and verified the following. However still issue occurs. The following have been tried:
1. Verified the Target AD for duplicates. This is a unique mail address in AD.
2. Outlook profile cache disabled.
3. Verify the user is not hidden in GAL and user found manually in GAL.
4. Verify the user is mailbox-enabled with the correct primary SMTP address matching SMTP address column of NME DB.
5. Assigned permission at mailbox level and tested. also tested with following
6. Created new new Service account for Target AD Exchange and assigned necessary permissions and tested.
7. Tested from 2nd MFNE Console also encountered the same issue.
Following also true On the Windows server running MFNE Server, have login with Target Service mailbox "SVC\MFNE" and it shows the profile is actually opened the Target User mailbox for migration and can see all folders. So, when accessing the provisioned mailbox, from Outlook is working good. After closing Outlook and then running MFNE migration wizard, it generates the error.
To resolve this issue, change the Exchange login credentials page from “UPN” format to “Domain\User”.
