Error group provisioning with the following error: "NewDistributionGroup Error: A parameter cannot be found that matches parameter name 'Type'"
Description

When trying to Provision a Group the following error is found in the logs:
New-DistributionGroup -Name HelpDesk Edpnet -PrimarySmtpAddress groupname@domain.tld -Type Distribution -Confirm False
ERROR: [7972-213-17-00000000]
PowerShell Result: NewDistributionGroup Error: A parameter cannot be found that matches parameter name 'Type'.
Cause

This is caused by the account being used not having permissions for "Security Group Creation" and "Membership-Security Group Creation"
Resolution

In order to resolve this issue please make sure that you are added to a role group to provide "Security Group Creation and Membership-Security Group Creation" rights
