A user along with all their emails, contacts, and calendar data migrated. The stationery folder was migrated successfully. However, stationery data inside the folder was not migrated.
Is this a limitation of the tool or is there a way to check why it was not migrated?
It appears that the stationery was not migrated however it had migrated successfully. The Title of the stationery is not migrated hence the apparent confusion. The actual messages listed in the Stationery section in Notes appear in the Stationery folder in Outlook
This is caused by Outlook not being able to display stationery in the same way that Notes does.
Outlook Stationery is more theme based rather than being able to use preset text. With Outlook Stationery you can set the overall Theme, Font for different sections, Mark the text with a pre set value however it is not possible to have a preset email as part of these settings.
To get Outlook to have predefined Stationery with preset text, use the Signature option.
Using a Signature, they can be individually titled and therefore selected as needed.
Tool is working as designed. Not all Features of Notes can be mapped exactly to corresponding Features in Outlook
