How to: Migrate SQL NME DB instance to another VM

SQL NME instance has many custom templates that have been added to cover variety of migrations, We have been informed by the IT Department that this instance needs to be moved over to another VM. We need to understand the impacts of this move as we are still in process of migrations.
We need to understand
1. Any reconfigurations?
2. Are Templates restored after migration?
3. Collections created is past are restored?
4. Known issues or considerations?
Resolution

If moving NME40DB by performing full database backup on the source then restoring on the target SQL server, there is no need for any re-configuration other than updating MNE Admin Console "SQL Server host name" to point to the new database location.
Previously scheduled run will be executed when time is up after NME40DB is restored. Any migration templates will become available too. The same is true for user/group collections as they all stored in the database.
However if there is running task for migration (either manually executed or scheduled to run), it is advised to allow it to finish or stop before performing NME40DB move and make database ready to use again.
