When migrating mailboxes, messages with attachments may be migrated such that the attachments are doubled, and the duplicate attachments appear corrupted.
For example, message A contains two attachments in Notes. After migration, in Exchange, the message will contain four attachments (originals are duplicated), two of which are corrupted.
This issue occurs because in Notes there are two objects in the message. One is an attached file, and the other is an embedded representation of the attachment in the body of the message. Both are being interpreted by Notes Migrator as attachments.
This is a product limitation in Notes Migrator for Exchange 3.2. The corrupted attachments can be ignored or deleted manually. The true attachments (not the embedded representations) will not be corrupted.
