Target Exchange Server Version: Office365 has Using Microsoft Online Services Directory Synchronization that allows you to bring object to the local staging Active Directory.
As part of the configuration, this option is selected and applied successfully. However, if you go to different section on the tool and come back to Exchange Server Settings, you see that Using Microsoft Online Services Directory Synchronization did not stay selected.
STATUS

WORKAROUND
1- After the going to different section and going back to Exchange Server Setting verify Using Microsoft Online Services Directory Synchronization did NOT stay selected.
2- Go to Global Default Settings (INI file)
3- Find [Exchange] section
4- Add the following
5- Save the Global Default Settings (INI file)
6- Exit NME
7- Re-Open NME
