When migrating Domino mailbox messages the following error occurs:
"Error: Unknown message type: Phone Message."
The items being skipped are "Phone Messages" which is a type of Notes data that the program does not migrate by default. This behavior is by design because there is no logical target in the Outlook/Exchange environment that corresponds to this Notes data type. However, the Notes Migrator for Exchange can be configured to migrate such items as regular mail messages.
To configure Notes Migrator for Exchange to migrate Phone Messages data to regular mail messages, a file called custommsgtypes.tsv (in ver 3.1) or custommsgtypes.csv (in ver 3.0) must be created, with the following information:
File Name: custommsgtypes.tsv (ver 3.1) or custommsgtypes.csv (ver 3.0)*
Column Names: Id,SourceType,EquivalentToSourceType,TargetType
For example (Message type): Custom1,Phone,Memo,IPM.Note
NOTE: Program data files in version 3.1 are saved and read in a tsv (tab-separated values) data format. In pre-3.1 versions, the data files are in a csv (comma-separated values) data format.
UPDATED: With the release of Notes Migrator for Exchange version 18.104.22.168, the Admin-Driven Batch Migrator now lets you specify alternate names for forms to migrate, by defining the alternate names in the notesmigapp.ini file. For each form, the first-listed name is the default, but you can define additional names by separating each pair of names by the pipe character ("|"):
