Is there any time zone requirement for the migration workstation, when using GroupWise Migrator for Exchange?
Should the machine be set to the source GroupWise or to the destination Exchange time zone, for the appointments to migrate over correctly?
No, there is no time zone requirement for the migration workstation. It can be in any time zone, regardless of where the GroupWise and Exchange servers are.
The source, target and migration (console) sides should be set to the time zones as applicable to their geographic location. GroupWise Migrator for Exchange would provide the appointment data to Exchange/Outlook, which will perform the time conversion automatically depending on the time zone of the machine it is installed on.
Depending on the time difference between the sender and receiver, the appointments (especially all day events) may span to the next day.
