MTA error - "Error -2147023495 SetMailboxInfo failed Invalid menu handle." and or PFTA error " -
Description
The Mail Target Agent (MTA) log contains the following when trying to create a mailbox:
"CExchAdmin::SetMailboxInfoE2K TraceMsg 4702 Creating mailbox '/o=Orginization/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=mailbox_name'."
"CExchAdmin::SetMailboxInfoE2K Error -2147023495 SetMailboxInfo failed Invalid menu handle. File: 'errors.hpp' Line: '292' File: 'aeExchAdmin2K.cpp' Line: '106'"The Public Folder Target Agent (PFTA) on the target server contains the following warning and error:
"MailKernel::ImportPF Warning 2064 DELETE BEFORE RELEASE. Administrator mailbox check is currently disabled"
"PowerShellCmdExec::Init Error -2147024894 Automation error The system cannot find the file specified." -
Cause
Alternate Host has been configure to be used for a target Exchange 2010 (E2010) server. This is not supported in QMM for Exchange 8.6 and earlier

Resolution
Migration Manager for Exchange 8.6 or earlier
Remove the Alternate host for the target server and install the agents directly onto the E2010 server.Migration Manager for Exchange 8.7 and later
Ensure Microsoft Exchange 2010 Management Tools are installed on the agent host server. For additional details please see article 71313

Additional Information
From the Release Notes for QMM 8.6: Migration Manager for Exchange Quest Migration Manager for Exchange 8.6 supports Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 as the migration target.
However, the following limitations apply to this release of Quest Migration Manager regarding migration to Exchange 2010:
- Exchange 2010 is not supported as a source
- The alternate hosts feature is not supported
- The Remote Users Collection feature is not supported
- The Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2010 migration scenario is not supportedFrom the Know issues section of the Release Notes:
Exchange Data Migration
General
- This version of Quest Migration Manager does not support migration scenario from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2010.
- To perform the correct migration, the Quest Migration Attendant for Exchange service must be started on the Exchange Server 2010 computer. Otherwise, Mailbox and Calendar Synchronization agents cannot create mailboxes on the Exchange 2010.
- This version of Quest Migration Manager does not support alternate hosts for Exchange 2010 Servers. N/A
