Unable to Open the Migration Manager Console After Installing a Hotfix. -
Description
After installing the latest QMM hotfix, You're unable to open up the Migration Manager Console. -
Cause
The updatedb.sql script did not run correctly against the MMEX Project Database. -
Resolution
From the QMM Console Server.
1. Close the QMM Console and stop ALL quest services and any MAgE agents that are running on all servers.
2. Open up the folder c:\program files (x86)\quest software\migration manager\exchange data\db\ and open the file updatedb.sql in notepad.
3. Open up SQL Server Management Studio and connect to the project database.
4. Copy and paste the script in notepad into the query window and make sure that you have selected the QMM Project Database in the toolbar so that it's ran against the same database.
5. Hit "Execute".
