When trying to connect to an Exchange server MAgE may produce the following error.
Error Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.ServiceRequestException: The request failed. The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable. | at Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.ServiceRequestBase.GetEwsHttpWebResponse(IEwsHttpWebRequest request)
IIS Application Pool configuration may be the cause.
OR
The issue could be caused by having a load balancer in the environment.
RESOLUTION 1
Attempt the following configuration.
1. Open IIS on the Exchange server in question.
2. Go to the "Application Pools"
3. Right click "MSExchangeRpcProxyAppPool"
4. Set Enable 32-bit Applications to "False"
This has not technically been confirmed at this time. Just one possible solution to this issue for MAGE errors.
RESOLUTION 2
Bypass the load balancer by pointing directly to a CAS server in the hosts file on the MAgE agent host machine. For instructions see the following KB article: https://support.quest.com/migration-manager-for-exchange/kb/101780
