Cannot create RUM agent package for manual deployment. Pop-up error message is received, "Fatal e (4311811)

When creating the Agent package in the RUM for QMM 8.4 a pop-up Error message is received, "Fatal error during installation".

 

The failure above will also generate an Event log error in the Application log as noted below.

This is received because the Setup process is writing to the default location (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Aelita Shared\Migration Tools\Resource Updating) of the files needed to create the agent package.  A new location for the files is needed.

To create the agent package, right-clicking on the "Resource Updating" item in the tree view and choosing the option "Create Agent Setup".   In the "Save setup files to:" click on the Browse button and select a new location where to create the package.   There is  a "Make New Folder" button which can be used to create a sub folder under the default location or any other location.
