"Error 0xcb000014 Invalid connection options" when setting up DSA -
Description
New installation - ADAM and Migration Manager installed without issue using a designated service account. After starting Migration Manager a message is displayed that no directory synchronization agents are installed. When setting up the DSA and specifying an account for ADAM access andan error is displayed when browsing for a project:
"Error 0xcb000014 Invalid connection options"
"Error 0xc100002d Failed to bind to ADAM_hostname (dn=) as user DOMAIN\QMM_svcaccount with 4230 authentication type
LDAP error 0x31. Invalid Credentials (8009030C: LdapErr: DSID-0C0905DF, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 52e, v1db1)" -
Cause
This can be caused by high security group policies in the domain that apply to computer where QMM and DSA are being installed.

Resolution
Lower the security policies or move the computer to an OU with less strict policies applied.
