Computer move failed with error "Error 0x2. The system cannot find the file specified" -
Description
Resource Updating Manager (RUM) fails to move computer with error "Error 0x2. The system cannot find the file specified".
When checking on the netSetup.log file under C:\Windows\debug from the computer that failed to move, the following error found:
04/12 11:32:40 NetpGetComputerObjectDn: Specified path 'CN=Computers,DC=domain,DC=com' is not an OU
04/12 11:32:40 NetpCreateComputerObjectInDs: NetpGetComputerObjectDn failed: 0x2 -
Cause
This error generates when the "Computers" OU is chosen in the "Selection Location" prompt when moving the computer.

Resolution
Please leave the OU blank if the intention to move the computer to the default Computers OU because by default, any computer that is joined to domain will be place in this OU.
