CCU executing successfully but shows default captions instead of configured with update_msi.cmd -
Description
CCU was configured with custom captions through update_msi.cmd. Yet when it's running on the machine, default captions are shown -
Cause
cachecred.text.ini file is overriding configured captions -
Resolution
The issue is caused by default cachecred.text.ini file copied to the CCU share. When CCU is launched, it pulls multiple files from the share, like vmover.ini, vmover.cmd, etc.
What cachecred.text.ini is present on the share, CCU will use values in that file to display captions instead of configured ones. This allows a better flexibility without the need to rebuild and re-deploy MSI.
If cachecred.text.ini file is not present in CCU share, configured values will be used.
