The size of dsa.log file on the DSA (Directory Synchronization Agent) server grows larger then the 10mb limit before being archived.
Open the registry editor on the server where DSA agent is installed and navigate to the following registry key: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\AeDsaLogSrv\Config key.
Verify the following:
1. LogFileSize=0xA00000 string value is present. A00000 is HEX value for 10 MB dsa.log file size limit.
2. LogArchivePath has the value and this path exists on your hard drive. By default it is "C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Migration Manager\DSA\Configs\LogArchive\".
After verifying these registry keys perform the following:
1. Stop directory synchronization job on Migration Manager console.
2. Stop Quest Directory Synchronization Agent Log service on DSA server.
3. Rename dsa.log file so that the new file can be created.
4. Start Quest Directory Synchronization Agent Log service on DSA server.
5. Start directory synchronization job again on Migration Manager console. A Full Resync is NOT required.
