MigrationManager.exe is locked startup error after QMM upgrade
Migration Manager was upgraded and when it is started, installation process is initiated. After a while an error message comes up saying MigrationManager.exe is locked. Cancelling the error three or four times allows the access to QMM UI. Same problem occurs when going to Tools/Agent Manager and DSA server properties. In the Application Event Log there is a following entry: Application 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Aelita Shared\MigrationManager.exe' (pid 1234) cannot be restarted - Application SID does not match Conductor SID.
In some cases QMM seems to spawn several installation processes after upgrade. Root cause in unclear.
At startup QMM spawns two msiexec processes and prompt on screen says migrationmanager.exe is locked, so installation cannot continue
One of msiexec processes runs under user account and second under local system account
Killing the msiexec process that uses logged on account and clicking retry on the error allows the installation process to complete
