When attempting to delete a StorageProfile, it gets "stuck" and won’t delete.
The issue occurs if there is an error during the recall portion of the profile deletion. For example, RBS disconnects from Content DB.
a. Run following SQL query against the StoragePoint database:
UPDATE Profiles Set [State] = 1 WHERE [State] = 2
b. Refresh the Storage Profiles screen in Central Administration. Profiles should not have the "DELETING" state any longer.
